May 1st at Black Stork's nest

On the first of May, to try make up for leaving the nest, Padis brought lots of moss to the nest and arranged it around his mate. Donna felt it was a bit too much and moved some of the moss to the edge of the nest.
The ravens' voices are quite often heard now, and in the morning one can also observe large flocks of geese passing by.
Let's hope that during Saturday's general cleaning (40,000 Estonian volunteers are taking to the forest to remove 10,000 tons of garbage) they don't carry away our camera cables, batteries and solar panels—we removed trash from our area more than a month ago just after the snow melted.
