Tartu Observatory and the Estonian Academy of Sciences (Eesti Teaduste Akadeemia) arrange the conference “200 years of universe research in Estonia”, "200 aastat Universumi uudistamist Eestis" on Wednesday. March 25th , at 14.00 pm in Tallinn, in the Science Academy building at Kohtu 6, to celebrate the International Astronomy Year 2009.
Presentations will be made by Tõnu Viik, Laurits Leedjärv, Kalju Annuk and Elmo Tempel, and Urmas Sisask performs music inspired by the stars. The annual meeting of EAS takes place after the programme.
