Tawny owl chicks four weeks old

The first tawny owl chicks were hatched on April 4. Here are the first three at one day old, with the last one, who is the smallest even today.
 
One week later the biggest and most active owlet could be seen beside Klaara.
 
Our male owl Klaus fulfilled his fatherly duty to feed the family faithfully, and Klaara spent the days and nights keeping the chicks warm, and feeding them and teaching them how to eat.
 
From the third week onwards the owlets could be seen quite often in the nest without the adult birds. Much time was needed to hunt for food.
 
... and on Friday night the two biggest were already sitting at the nest entrance. Very probably there will be trips outside the nest during the birthday week – where will the nights be spent then?
 
We will see.
