Marsh marigold.

The marsh marigold (Caltha palustris) is a rather peculiar plant: growing with its feet in the water, in wet meadows and at the edges of waters. Now is a good time for it to flower, it is still wet enough but the worst floods have gone. But you can’t usually get near them without rubber boots.

The Estonian name of the marsh marigold, varsakabi, means colt’s hoof, and the shape of the leaves is hoof-like.  It is not a favourite plant of animals because the marsh marigold is slightly poisonous and cattle won’t eat it
.
Konnakapsas, frog-cabbage, is another Estonian name for it.
