Now is the last chance to pick cowslips (Primula veris) for winter, in some places the flowering is already past, but in the meadows of western Estonia it is still in its full glory, in vast fields. Bring a small bag, pick a few litres of flowers accompanied by lark song, and bring them home to dry them, and there will be something in the cupboard to make a sweetish, calming tea from during all the cold times. And more, in the jar of dried flowers there will also be the wonderful spring day in the cowslip meadows.
