Heartsease.
The little heartsease with its white-yellow-violet flowers looks like a miniature pansy, but its colours are not obtrusive, and blend into each other like the evening glow in the sky. The scientific name too underlines the appearance of the flower: Viola tricolor – three-coloured violet. It flowers until August. Just now it is easy to notice in meadows and even in the lawn grass – lawns that have not yet been cut because of the cowslips. Later, when the grass grows tall, the flower is not so noticeable.
