An Internet site that is unique in Estonia was opened to users a few weeks ago. teadus.ee allows you to find news items, articles and comments in all areas of science, easily searchable and systematically classified.
Simple to find. teadus.ee has been distributing science news by e-mail. The homepage www.teadus.ee is now rearranged so that all published material, starting from April 2005, is systematically grouped by science areas as well as by headings.
The classification is shown in the left-hand column on the teadus.ee web page.
Easy to read. The ambition of teadus.ee is to publish material that is understandable and interesting for students in schools as well as on an academic level. So now, if you need to write something on folklore, genetics, animals or many other subjects it might be worthwhile to look what is available in teadus.ee.
Unique in Estonia. Last not least – there is also a search engine. So if you need to know what we have published on influenza, birds or viruses it is easy to search for it. In the science area this is unique in Estonia.
Our web page also has a new design.
The project, carried out with funding from the Haridus- ja teadusministeerium, the Estonian Ministry for Education and Research, is now maintained by the non-profit organisation Teadusteave MTÜ within the framework of civic initiative actions (kodanikualgatus).
