Warty cabbage bushes at roadsides

Warty cabbage.

Yellow cruciferous species are everywhere now but the most eye-catching of them is the warty cabbage (Bunias orientalis), that already 150 years ago put its roots down here. It looks like a small bush, because the flowering stems spread outwards. And if its main root is damaged then the „bush” only grows bigger, the plant becomes many-headed. A small child can easily hide itself behind the dense clump.
