Tõnn visited Vaasa

While Tõnn’s parents take care of this year’s offspring (and hopefully there is someone to care for) – Tõnn is whiling away his time in Finland.
Tõnn’s mother in September last year. She has the dark, nearly black colouring characteristic of greater spotted eagles.

From June 3 onwards Tõnn has been staying in Sastamala or the Merikarvia region, mostly he could be seen sitting at the edge of a field, a couple of hectares large. But on Monday, June 29, the flying urge caught Tõnn and he went to Vaasa. We don’t know what was on in Vaasa that day, or why Tõnn embarked on this 150 km journey ... But in the evening of June 30, Tõnn was already on his way back from Vaasa and stopped about 50 km to the south.
