Bear cub having a bath in bog waterhole.
During the mating period in May-June female bears keep apart from their year-old cubs who move around on their own. Now they are together again, if not side by side then at least near each other, and later they will also be hibernating near each other. In Estonia brown bears (Ursus arctos) are most often encountered in the Alutaguse region in North-eastern Estonia.
