Our nature protected wetland areas often have nice outlook towers, and it may be worthwhile to climb one or the other of them, to get a wider view of the surroundings and to observe what is going on through binoculars. There are not only birds to be seen: in grass meadows there are almost certainly elks lying about in the tall grass, or roe deer moving around. And wild boars like to go rooting in the reed beds. But to see this, be sure to bring along binoculars.
