This year’s bird rally promises to draw the greatest number of participants ever. At present 12 Finnish teams with a total of 40 members, and 7 Estonian teams with 25 members have registered.

Until now 15 teams at most have taken part in Estonian Open (2007 and 2008). We hope for some more teams yet. The closing date for registering is August 5.

The bird rally Estonian Open takes place on Saturday, August 15, and the competition area is Harjumaa county, from 3.00 am to 5.00 pm. After the rally we will gather at the Aegviidu Recreation Centre, www.aegviidupuhkebaas.ee  for an evening meal. Summing-up starts at 7.00 pm.

The rally fee is 350 Estonian Crowns per person, covering Saturday evening meal, use of conference rooms, sauna, and lodgings (Saturday night) and Sunday breakfast. For those who don’t stay overnight the fee is 175 Estonian Crowns, covering evening meal, use of conference rooms, and sauna. Fees should be paid at Aegviidu.

NB! The fee doesn’t include lodgings on Friday night. Those who would like to arrive on Friday and stay overnight should contact Aegviidu Puhkebaas for arrangements and separate payment.
