We have already had three meetings in Tõravere, but astronomy adherents are always interested in the activities of professional astronomers.
The main themes of the meeting are: 400 years of telescopes, and 200 years of Estonian sky studies. There are of course also presentations from other areas.
Practical observations: we will count meteorites, study the moon, the planets and deep sky. The large telescopes at Tõravere, the Meade LX200 GPS telescope will be used and even more telescopes will probably be brought in. Telescope owners are encouraged to bring along their own instruments.
On the excursion day there will be a trip to the Võrtsjärv lake and a visit to the Limnology centre.
As at all our meetings there is also a concert, with music by Urmas Sisask.
