Fly agaric.
Your favourite mushroom model?
The fly agaric (Amanita muscaria) – it is attractive and mushroom pickers mostly leave them for the photographers.
Bolete or cep (Boletus edulis).
Which mushrooms do you eat?
I prefer photgraphing mushrooms to frying them. But sometimes I can’t resist and take home some chanterelles, parasol mushrooms, champignons, ceps. I don’t make any mushroom preserves.

Do mushrooms have to be photographed differently from plants?
Certainly. Mushrooms have their own characteristics, and you have to consider that on photographing them. But that is a long story that should be told at photo courses.
