"Autumn-winter in Puhtu"
Arno Peksar – experienced amateur photographer, has been photographing nature actively for 4 years. Great interest lately in the Nordic countries, particularly in nature in Norway, but the present exhibition is from nature and views around his home, South Läänemaa.
 
Tiit Kaljuste
"Moments from Läänemaa"
Tiit Kaljuste is biologist by profession and has photographed nature already for tens of years. Has been associated with Matsalu for a great part of his life, at present responsible for information contents and layout of information stands and museums. Looks for the unique and unrepeatable in nature. Great attention to quality.
 
 
Lembit Tenno
"Nature by a plate camera"
Lembit Tenno – experienced nature photographer, has photographed in all formats from cinema films to 10x12 inch stills, that he has kept faith with because of the superb quality. Has travelled from the Spitzbergs to Africa, favourite places Cabo Verde and northern Norway. Prints and frames supersize photo prints himself.
 
Gustav German
"Landscapes: sea, lakes, rivers"
Gustav German – senior master of photography, has been working for journals for 32 years, having become known in Estonia as well as abroad. Published 23 photo books. His own publisher from 1993.
 
Alo Põldmäe
"The semiotic trees of Neeruti"
Alo Põldmäe is a composer, music researcher, music teacher and amateur photographer. Has travelled widely, from the Kamchatka to Pamir, favourite place lately Neeruti. Photographs what he sees around us, particularly what creates visual links to music. His semiotic trees have been exhibited in 24 places.
 
 
Kaido Haagen
"What a view"
Kaido Haagen is a professional photographer. He doesn’t share the popular overdevotion to technology. Has photographed architecture and nature, worked as commercial photographer. Particularly fascinated by underwater photography, in Estonia and elsewhere. has travelled widely. Can’t stand incompetence. Particularly values the meaning and content of a photo.
 
Peeter Vissak
"Who comes from south heads north"
Peeter Vissak has protected, studied and photographed nature for more than 30 years. Free-lance photographer at present, guide on nature tours, translator, author among other things. Editor of the journal Tõru.
 
HKHK group
"Own aspect"
The HKHK Group is one part of the 2008. years adults’ photo class in Haapsalu Vocational education Centre. The present small selection is from older as well as new works.
 
Pille & Kaarel Kaisel
"Autumn in Kasari meadow"
Pille & Kaarel Kaisel ae photographers who know Läänemaa well. Their particular interests are tied to birds, the community in nature and forests. Kaarel has had several individual exhibitions from nature in Matsalu.

Hannu Siitonen, "Kaakkuri & Kuukkeli – Red-throated Loon and Siberian jay"
Hannu Siitonen – Well-known nature photographer. Favourite photo objects are the siberian jay and the red-throated loon. When younger belonged to best in the world in javelin throws.

Lembit Tenno & Gustav German, "Nature in a plate camera"
Lembit Tenno and Gustav German – two masters in large and medium format landscape photography show their works and explain how they were made, ie choosing the place, handling the light etc. The work cycle for wide-format photos is shown, a 10’’x8’’ camera is also there. Photos are from Estonia as well as farther away – Norway, Cap Verde Island mountains and other places.

Juha Valste – experienced nature photographer, journalist, author, scientist, pedagogue and traveller (Africa, North America, Australia and Europe). Favourite place is desert.

Kaido Haagen - professional photographer, who has been fascinated by underwater photography lately, in Estonia as elsewhere.

Hendrik Relve, "At the borders of the cold desert"
Hendrik Relve – nature photgrapher and populariser of natural sciences and nature protection. Publisher of numerous articles, has produced radio and TV programmes, written many books. His travelling exhibition „Giant trees in Estonia” is well known.
