Marsh marigolds flowering

Marsh marigold.

Here and there on wet banks and in boggy copses the early-spring herald marsh marigold (Caltha palustris) can be seen flowering again. The reason is the pleasantly warm autumn: the plant is on its second flowering cycle. It is worth keeping in mind that the marsh marigold plant is poisonous, when you study the cabbage-like leaves and the lush flowers of the plant.
