We called Kaja Kübar at the Animal Rehabilitation Centre in Nigula:
Spot is recovering nicely, moves on his own, and eats well and each day Kaja cares for the injured wing. Let’s hope for good weather on the weekend (if it rains our lesser spotted eagle will not be brought out) and then the first flying exercises will be tested, but not  in nature.

We will come back with more news in the beginning of next week. Meteorologists promise a long and warm autumn, so there is hope for our young migrant-to-be ...
