The webplayer works with Windows, Linux and Mac operative systems. It needs the Silverlight browser add-on that can be downloaded here, if you do not already have it. If watching the camera still does not work, we recommend the VLC Player.
See what goes on!
We put the cameras in working order during the first week of November, in nice working weather. To start with the two cameras are set as last year. Time will show if something needs to be adjusted. There is a wide-angle view from the ground camera now, to show what happens in the surroundings. When things become interesting in the feeding place, the camera lens can be changed into a three times more powerful telephoto lens.
Tiit Randla is the man who brings the food to the dining table. He is supported by the Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus (RMK), the Estonian State Forest Management Centre. There may be pauses in the feeding if this is judged necessary – our eating guests must be able to manage on their own too - but this will depend on the coming winter.
Welcome to post your ideas and suggestions on the forum, or send by e-mail to Looduskalender (mail address see bottom of page).
The guests who visit the feeding grounds will be introduced by and by in the left-hand column.
