Who doesn’t know the crow? The crafty birds live in the cities and in the countryside, only keeping away from large forests and bogs or marshes, but in the winter roaming period visits can be paid even there. November is the last month for our crows to migrate. Those living in cities and villages are more stationary; older birds are more inclined to migrate, not as with most other species, the young ones. Together with the immigrants from the north the winter number may be two hundred thousand and up to four hundred thousand individuals.
The head, neck, wings, beak and feet of the hooded crow are black; it wears a grey “overcoat” with the collar upturned. The croaking of the crows in the camera tells us if there is an alarm on, or just a peaceful mealtime
