On March 11, in the morning, a mating took place – all must be ready for  egg-laying. It wasn’t the first mating this spring, and probably not the last either, but Linda and Sulev now have their activities very close to the camera.
The snow cover is thick in the nesting forest, and there is a real shortage of materials for lining the nest. Today the first beakfull of dried grass, collected from the snow, was brought in for the bottom of the nest.
