For students – on March 24: presentations of the University of Tartu biological, geosciences and environmental activities
On March 24, beginning at 12.20, the University of Tartu (UT) departments of biological, earth sciences and environmental sciences present their activities, as part of the University’s Open Doors project.
Vice dean Kalle Olli introduces the University of Tartu’s areas of interest in biosciences and earth sciences, professor Raivo Mänd talks on 49 reasons why studying zoology isn’t worthwhile , and Marju Korsten and Egle Vulla on what gene studies show about the history of the brown bear after the last Ice Age. Admittance to the UT Natural history, Zoology and Geology museums is free during the whole day.
