The feeding ground guests have scattered, safe and sound, to their ordinary living places. Good that the winter could be spent here, cared for and watched over by people.
Peep and Silvi haven’t noticed during the years of feeding the animals that more boars than usual stay in their neighbourhood in summer. They grow potatoes and root crops in their vegetable plots every year.
The largest number in winter was 70 individuals at the same time in camera view. A sow with piglets has been seen in the middle of the week (piglets were heard) and it is not likely to remain a once-only event.
