Lesser whitethroat.
A birdsong excursion lasting about one hour starts from Luigetiik (Swan pond) in Kadrioru on Sunday, April 25 at 8 am. Attendance is free, and pleasant early spring weather has been promised.
The early morning birdsong concert is a time for delightful enjoyment of improvisations. There are no promises from the birds about who sings, and where. But the facts are that birds love to sing in the mornings, and that the park at Kadriorg is one place in Tallinn where a really great number of different birds can be heard and seen.
Bird expert Peep Veedla will be in Kadrioru to help all enthusiasts. We will get good advice and tips on how to remember the different singers better, which birds are more musical, why they sing at all, and many other interesting things.
