Klaara went out for four minutes last night to "stretch her legs” after 48 hours on the nest. Two chicks had hatched. The crushed egg shells were at the bottom of the nest.
Klaus, an experienced hunter, doesn’t seem to have any problems to provide his famiy with food. It seems that during the incubation Klaus left the prey for Klaara outside the nest hollow.
A pretty idyll, chicks are hatching, the nightingale sings in the nest tree – what more to wish for?
