It took some time for Klaara and Klaus’s owlet Biggi to go out in the wide world, to start a new and exciting but also risky life. Biggi was probably hatched on May 7, and was the only one left of this year’s clutch. The exit from the nest took place on June 10, in early morning. The nest life period usually lasts four weeks for  tawny owl chicks, but was one week longer this year. In August the nest tree surroundings become silent.
