On Saturday the chick of our neighbouring country's lesser spotted eagle pair is one week old. Our own birds aren't breeding in the web camera nest, but nest life can be studied at our neighbour's site.
A brief recap: two eggs were laid but one was crushed. Thus the eagles can focus on raising the one chick.
