On September 14.-17 2010 the world of mushroom is displayed at Tartu Keskkonnahariduse Keskus (Tartu Environmental Education Centre), Kompanii 10.

 

MSUHROOM EXHIBITION
open from 10am to 6 pm.
+exhibition of mushroom eating animals
+ films "Mitte ainult seentest – Not only about mushrooms" (20 minutes) and animated doll film "Operaator Kõps seeneriigis – Agent Kõps in the mushroom world" (20 minutes)
+ worksheets for schoolchildren to fill in
 

MUSHROOM CONSULTATIONS

from 4 pm to 6 pm. Questions about fungi; consultations and advice from experts on own mushroom specimens.

EXTRA:
Tuesday, September 14, at 6 pm, lecture:

"Mushrooms as food: risks and benefits", lecturer Urmas Kokassaar.

Friday, September 17, at 6 pm, lecture:

"Mushroom poisonings", lecturer toxicologist Anti Kalda.

About our major toxic mushrooms, their toxins, symptoms of poisoning, first aid measures in case of poisoning.
