During the morning of Friday, 27 June, the camera's picture was interrupted and distance repair did not provide results. Contact with the forest was intact, but the camera's signal was cut off. So we had to go on site and act as quickly as possible. It turned out that the camera's cable was defective...
The problem was successfully repaired within about 20 minutes, but on the way down I caught glimpse of a shadow sliding over the forest. I was afraid to get "caught" by one of the adult birds, so I froze against the back side of the nest tree's trunk. My fear was justified, as Donna landed at the nest a couple of minutes later. She apparently didn't notice anything dangerous, and the chicks were also surprisingly calm during the repair.
Saturday after noon a stranger stork visited our storklets, it spend 13 minutes on branch beside the nest and that time camera
On Saturday at about 3 p.m. the visiting stork came and sat on a branch next to the nest. It stayed there 13 minutes, and all the while the chicks were begging to be fed. This time the intruder was captured by the camera.
