Bloodless Hunt: this year's quarry

List of birds seen at the Bloodless Hunt

On May 21st wildlife photographers gathered in Tudu in East Virumaa to hold the 13th “Bloodless Hunt“. The hunt took place in the forests of RMK Angus’s forest district.

The Bloodless Hunt is like an ordinary hunt but with cameras as firearms, memory cards for ammunition and a large crop of animal and nature photos as the prey. Not a single gunshot, only quiet camera shutter clicks.
Worthy quarry was waylaid and spied on from early dawn until late evening. The photo hunt was held in the forests and bogs of East Virumaa from the evening of May 21st to midday May 23rd. The target quarry of this year was the pine marten but everything could be hunted everywhere – in water, in air and on land. The result shows the landscapes and their inhabitants in the Angus hunting district.

The wildlife photo contest “Bloodless Hunt” has been held since 1997.
