The Small Bird Feeder Camera season has started. A Mobotix camera shows what goes on. For the transmssion this year a mobile link is tested; new solutions must be tried. The video stream from the camera is brought from Otepää to the Eenet server in Tartu through the MiNT network of Elisa. With the 3,5G technology it is sufficiently fast to ensure a seamless transmission of the image. BALSNACK has been supplying our feathered friends with their bird foods from the first frost period. The camera (on-site works did by ITrotid) is in Otepää, at the office window of LOODUSEMEES.ee. The location has been tested and approved, and is used already for the fifth year. We will see the behaviour of birds wintering herein an urban environment, and there will be interesting additional photos from Arne to be published in Looduskalender. We also look forward to contributions from all bird friends as well.

 

The feeder visitors will be introduced, and the forum is open to all registered members.

EENet multiplies the video stream to viewers as needed.
