Video from exhibition "Decay"

From December 16 to February 27, the Estonian Museum of Natural History presents an exhibition titled "Decay".
Death is a subject that we tend to avoid, and the process of decomposition is seldom observed or contemplated. Yet death is an inseparable part of all life, and the decomposition of dead matter is essential for recycling the resources in an ecosystem. What happens after death? How do dead creatures disappear?
The exhibition enters the common, yet mysterious world of decay and decomposers, studying the rich variety of life it contains, as well as the processes involved in the decomposition of animals, wood, and leaves.
Some visitors may find the exhibited material disturbing.
