On Tuesday the Estonian Fund for Nature, Eestimaa Looduse Fond (ELF) celebrated its birthday and its 20th year of protecting and preserving Estonian nature.  On the initiative of ELF and with its support national parks and nature preserves have been developed, and as an independent environmental organisation it has brought together thousands of people in studying and guarding the values of nature in Estonia.

 

On ELF’s birthday the exhibiton "Endangered and extinct species“ was opened, and for the 7th time the "Noor Looduskaitsja Auhind - Young Conservationist Award“ was handed out. The jubilee year offers a multitude of activities and events:
