Buzzards and ravens are roughly the same size, nice to be able to compare them in the web camera image from the eagle feeding ground.
 

The buzzard is a raptor with a very powerful exterior: black beak with a yellow base, the cere of the feet greyish-yellow. Things are more complicated with the colouring of the plumage, but usually it leaves an impression of brown. Note the paler eyebrow streak.
