Aotäht's year

Nature evening in the Estonian National Library, Rahvusraamatukogu, Tallinn, on Monday February 28th, 2011, at 18.00 (6 pm)

Mikk Sarv and Kristel Vilbaste talk about Lake Peipsi, the life of people on its shores, and about Vilusi village where a weather station was set up 90 years ago. In Vilusi the nature chronicles, published  every Monday for five years now in newspaper Eesti Päevaleht, have been created as well as  "Ilmasilmaja“ and many other broadcasts in Klassikaraadio. Photos  from  the Vilusi homestead - now lost in a fire – will be shown,  together with beautiful nature photos by Arne Ader and Kaja Kübar from the book "Aotähe aastaring – Aotäht’s year”.
There will be music by Mikk Sarv, the Brothers Johanson and friends.
Kristel Vilbaste also introduces her new book "Aotähe aastaring” (publisher Kunst 2011, editor Daila Aas, layout Kersti Tormis) and the book will be on sale at the event at a special price of 160 euros.
