The producers of the films “In the footsteps of Middendorff” and “Return of the musk ox” present a new film from Siberian nature. This time they have travelled to the sources and the outflow of the great river Lena. Lena divides the Eurasian continent along a 4000 km long north-south intersection and flows out into the Arctic Ocean at the Sakha (Yakutia) peninsula.
Film makers Vasili Sarana and Riho Västrik journey across taiga, tundra and mountains to discover the secrets of primeval nature.
“The Great River” consists of two parts : “Journey to the sources of the Lena” and “The Delta”. The cinema premiere is in the ARTIS cinema on April 22nd.
