The great military manoeuvre ”Siil” in the Alutaguse forests made the forest inhabitants more wary. We predicted that a week after the movements of fighters and a great deal of technical equipment had finished we might already see animals – and so it is.

 

A youngish brown bear has been on the observation ground. Older and more experienced animals are much more cautious. For the female bears that gave birth the year before last, the heat period is approaching. Interesting – will we see them or will they have new paths?
