Although the nest seems empty most of the time, this does not mean that nothing happens there.

 

The young white-tailed eagle keeps busy with flying exercises; things do not always turn out as intended. Then it is time to think and get it better the next time. Actually this is a dangerous period for a young bird.

 

 

The morning doings in the nest are quite interesting to watch; on noticing the male, typical food begging starts… 

Very soon the arts of fishing and of hunting must be learnt.
