The grey seals crawled to the more sheltered side of the islet for protection from the wind on Friday. The south-westerly wind swept past at up to some twenty m/s and on the open sea side of Saaremaa the wave height rose to 4 meters. The seawater level was half a meter above the usual, and still rising. Low-pressure areas chase each other. No surprise if a mighty storm finishes this beautiful autumn
