The hide and seek of the white-tailed eagles and grey seals: it looks like a game and the adult white-tailed eagle (the one with the white tail) teaches the young eagles to discover prey in the sea. The seals observe the activities with great interest.

 

But the reason for this report is actually that we had originally planned to go to Saaremaa to charge the batteries of the system and carry out maintenance on the camera between December 7th and 20^th  and then start all again within a few days. Days are extremely short and we have not much help from the low-standing sun.

 

But looking at the weather, one storm has followed another and going out on the Baltic in a small boat has not been possible…
