Tonight, at about 7.30 PM two brown bears visited the camera grounds. A couple of weeks ago the bear mating season began and the female bear and her suitor were in camera view. An interesting time!
Last night the female bear and the male bear accompanying her again appeared in camera view: they were seen at around 11 pm. It seems that the female has allowed her suitor to come a little closer.

A few words about the camera image: in daytime the image is in colour; as light decreases the image is transmitted by another, black-and-white night lens. At night we test infra-red lighting.
The brown bears have been seen nearly every night.
