The young ospreys are not even 2 ½ months yet. Flying and landing works as it does for youths, somewhat haphazardly. The adults have no difficulties with feeding the young – all have eaten properly. A little fighting when the food arrives is natural: after all they must already in less than a month manage independently in nature and later on the long migration journey.

 

 

The fish is grabbed by the fastest; and of course it is proudly demonstrated to the others, eating with their eyes only
