Experience is still scanty and so the fish brought by the adult manages to slip away to let itself fall down from the nest. Life will teach that complaining does not help.

 

Our ospreys in both nests are gumptious growers. They were hatched only two  months ago, within a few days of each other. They make flying exercises since  quite a while already. Their doings are interesting to watch; if nobody is in the nest for the moment, the screeching and calls to each other of the young, still incautious birds can be heard nearby
