Nice that the sniffing inspection by the male boar was caught on camera.

The peak of the mating season of boars will be in mid-December. Already now so called “breeding herds” are forming – a couple of sows in heat and a male boar. Such groups lose their inherent awareness of threats, move around quickly  and vigorously, and feeding is reduced to a third-rate activity.
