	Instead of the owl trip I decided in favour of observing the migration, and instead of Virumaa I reached Saaremaa and the 
Sõrve säär bird station in the evening. The weather in the next few days will evidently be pleasantly spring-like and hopefully this speeds up the waterfowl migration. I hope to gain several year points tomorrow.
 
	 
	Today a message came on the 
Rariliin after a long period of silence – a 
glaucous gull  was seen in Harjumaa, at Jõelähtme. It is the 2nd observation of this bird in Estonia this year, in January I myself saw a bird in Paldiski. The Jõelähtme glaucous gull is evidently staying at the landfill there; in the next few days twitchers will try to locate it again.
