Our honeylovers have a rich dining table set out for them in the forests now. If bilberries were still firmly sticking to the sprigs three weeks ago, then now there are berries in abundance at humid bog verges, and the bear knows the berry spots in his forest perfectly well. An accidentally found „bear heap“ was completely black from bilberries. Action trails in the bilberry forest confirm that the bear was snacking on berries sitting down and scooping up the berries with his right and left forepaw while sliding forward on his bottom  to get closer to them. An area, about 6 square meters large, in the Leidissoo protection area in Läänemaa looked quite ravaged.
