On a beautiful day in May 2013 I and Toomas Tuul went walking among the buildings of SA Põhja-Eesti Regionaalhaigla (North Estonia Medical Centre Psychiatry Clinic), or Seevald, at the Paldiski maantee in Tallinn. On Internet I only found 2 serious articles about Seevald:

Seevald is located in a green area of Tallinn near the city centre, next to the Stroomi forest and the Hipodroom. The buildings are from the end of the 19th century (1899), built as institutions for the Society of the Estonian Province for Treatment of the Mentally Ill (Eestimaa Kubermangu Vaimuhaigete Hooldamise Selts). In summer the area is submerged in greenery. It is nice for the patients to look at the sea or the horses on their walks. Of course this oasis in the middle of the city doesn’t leave land developers peace of mind. For the last twenty years there have been talks of exploiting the area for buildings...
