The thaw takes the last remains of snow. ”Our wolf” operates with serious hunting strategy. The boars will not cross the deep and long ditch to the right of the web camera, but two more escape directions remain if one is blocked by the hunter. The wolf appeared on the feeding ground only when the eleven-member boar herd calmly had left the feeding ground, at about 8.30 pm. The boars showed up in camera view again after an hour, in their behaviour there were no signs of danger or anxiety – it seems that the wolf has not harassed them until now.

 And for information: about 10 kilometres away but across the still not frozen Emajõgi river there is a wolf flock of 11 members.
