On October 3rd–4th the traditional birdwatching days, EuroBirdwatch 2015, take place. The days focus on the autumn migration of birds and the diversity of birds around us. To take part you only need to observe birds in your home garden or on a longer birdwatching trip. In many places in Estonia you can also join a guided birdwatch.
Please note the observed species and the approximate number of birds and forward the data already on October 4th at 3 pm at the latest, using the
form on the EOÜ page, so that we can make a first quick summary. Those who cannot make it are welcome to send their observations until October 8th at latest; these results can also be posted to EOÜ, Veski 4, 51005 Tartu.
The international birdwatching event takes place for the 22nd time this year. It is arranged by the global bird protection organization BirdLife International. The activities in Estonia are coordinated by the Estonian Ornithological Society.
