Common snipe.
The characteristic drumming or bleating sound from the wings of the common snipe (Gallinago gallinago), or the “sky goat”, could still be heard only recently in marshes and water meadows because the snipe often breeds a second time in the middle of summer. Also, some snipes that have already brought up one clutch in more southerly regions may arrive in Estonia when they look for fresh feeding areas, and then nest a second time here.
