In the morning Padis relieved Donna on the nest, and Donna brought a couple of pieces of moss for the nest. Around 9 a.m. the third chick hatched. You can see the hatching while Padis is feeding the two chicks. It will be interesting to see if Padis will be present to witness the birth of all the chicks.
Night in the nesting forest has not been terribly cold, the sun shines in the morning, and birds sing all around—a perfect time to be born.
